Energy-efficient lighting concept

We use modern lighting systems with motion detectors, which ensure that light in the corridors is only switched on when it is actually needed. In addition, we only use energy-efficient light sources in all our rooms, which provide pleasant light but consume little electricity.

Water saving

Water is a valuable commodity, which is why we have installed innovative flow restrictors on washbasins and showers in our bathrooms to reduce water consumption while maintaining full comfort. In addition, we only perform room-cleaning and changing towels on request (see below), which also conserves resources and saves water.

Paperless working

Thanks to advancing digitalisation, we are able to rely more and more on paperless working, which is not only more efficient but also more environmentally friendly. Digital solutions such as our online check-in, including a digital registration form, enable us to use less and less paper. We separate any paper that is still produced for recycling (see below).

Short journeys

We prefer partners who are in the immediate vicinity of our hotel and with whom we can reduce the carbon footprint of our supply chain.

Laundry "Waschwerk"

We are particularly pleased to have found Hanau's "Waschwerk", a local laundry "around the corner" that eliminates long journeys and also follows an integrative approach and employs people with mental disabilities.
